The SunSpot 46 Series offers industry-leading performance and is FAA-PMA/STC approved, making it compatible with nearly any aircraft requiring a PAR46 configuration. These lights can be easily installed using the existing PAR46 mounts and electrical connections of the aircraft.
Highest performance in the industry. The AeroLEDs SunSpot 46 LED Aircraft Landing Lights and Taxi Lights consume less power, output more lumens (total light output), and are not affected by vibrations compared to incandescent bulbs. These attributes make the SunSpot ideal for experimental, certified, commercial, and Military aircraft. The H, HX part numbers, and Equinox models come equipped with AeroLEDs’ SIGNATURE integrated pulse (Wigwag) feature, designed to reduce the risk of bird strikes and improve aircraft visibility, helping to prevent mid-air collisions.
The SunSpot series outputs a wider beam that illuminates the colour of an object due to the blue-green colour temperature as opposed to “greyed” out images from the orange-red colour temperature of an incandescent lamp. AeroLEDs offers several SunSpot 46 (PAR 46) drop in replacement options that are PMA and STC approved.
